April 2017 NY Enterprise Technology Meetup

  • April 26 · 6:00 PM
  • Work-Bench

Join fellow technologists, entrepreneurs, and investors for the NY Enterprise Technology Meetup's (NYETM) April meetup on Wednesday 4/26/17 from 6:00pm-8:30pm!

For our April meetup we have three exciting companies demoing their technologies:

ScoutThe best people are not actively looking for work, but are usually open to exploring new opportunities. The problem is that searching and connecting with them on Linkedin, Github and Twitter takes a lot of time. Scout is a virtual sourcing assistant that discovers qualified job candidates on all the professional networks, finds the best point of contact, and composes personalized emails ready for you to send. Our clients are saving dozens of hours and thousands of dollars it usually takes to hire someone. We're currently working with over 70 companies including: Bloomberg, Sony Music, Microsoft, Reddit, YouTube, Pill Pack, Lyft, Digital Ocean, Yieldbot, 1stDibs and Appnexus.

• Radar - Radar is the location platform for mobile apps. Radar helps companies collect, analyze, and act on location data. Customers include top apps such as Via, Raise and Wine n' Dine.

• Panaseer - Panaseer is a data analytics platform that simplifies and automates how security teams manage cyber risk. The platform enables CIOs, CISOs, control managers and IT operations to take a data driven approach to prioritising resources and optimising process efficiency, so they can demonstrate strong control over risk exposure and security ROI. The company is headquartered in London with offices in New York.

Strong presenters. Little interactivity/engagement with audience. Presenters should keep audience engaged by asking questions or surveying the room.

Not really clear what the purpose of the each pitch was. Interesting to hear different pitch approaches.

It is a bit boring (to comment on) and the usual: very well chosen different start-up/enterprise solutions, well presented and always a very active and well-informed networking crowd
