Well, I saw it on MS slide, and they spoke about it out loud during MS presentation.
Dean, taking emotion out of this. 64 bit is the way to go, and the way of the future (I give credit to Sun here for pushing things in that direction).
 
We replace hardware in 2-4 year cycles these days. By the time it ships, I know I will be on 64, and those who are not, can continue using 32.

Exchange 2007 is already 64 bit only.
