Actually it was the mobile browsers. I wasn't at a desktop yesterday and in both Mobile Chrome and Safari on the iPhone the link didn't work. This morning, when I tried from my desktop, it worked.

I've been in the new.myspace for a few weeks now and was able to sign-up correctly. The site is quite nice, actually. Oddly, they don't have any hint of a revenue model that is obvious to the user. The user experience is quite interesting in that everything scrolls left to right instead of up/down, which makes for an interesting mobile experience, such that they may forego the "app" if the site responds similarly in the mobile browser. Apps for social networks suck anyway, because I'd rather be in the browser when I click a link to a story than in an app and be taken out of the experience and over into the browser anyway. A mobile social network like FourSquare works, because everything is location based and you're not really searching for something as much as its being presented to you when you're in the area. Different experience altogether.

Of course this morning I receive a message that my new MySpace invite is approved; however, when I click on the Redeem Invite button, it sends me to their invite signup screen instead of a create account screen.

Seems like they're off to a rocky start.

Anyone else get one?
