Of course it’s possible to take apart a gun or steal a car or rob a bank with the right tools, no argument there. Point is without the keys of the car it makes it a lot harder and that’s why we have locks on cars and alarms in banks. I am advocating childproof smart guns to reduce accidental discharge causing deaths same as locks and alarms work for cars and banks. I don’t expect to eliminate the gun violence but we can do a lot to help and should at least try. Newtown could have been prevented with user unique gun technology and by creating a wireless safe zone around the school that disables smart guns.

No need to be so defensive. Anything made by man can be destroyed/disassembled/reverse-engineered by man. (Just as the Empire.) It's not easy, but neither is it impossible. And that, I think, is the point that Ruijie was trying to make.
