Garysguide
And as long as I've got my suit and tie, I'm-a leave it all on the floor tonight
And you got fixed up to the nines, Let me show you a few things
All pressed up in black and white, And you're dressed in that dress I like
Love is swinging in the air tonight, Let me show you a few things
Let me show you a few things, Show you a few things, about love

Yup, I've got JT's new single (w Jay-Z) stuck in my head. Suit & Tie, thats my style, thats how I roll ;) The album, The 20/20 Experience, drops tomorrow. Go get it!

Heard about the NYC Schools Gap App Challenge? The NYC Dept of Education is challenging software developers to submit apps and games that enhance math teaching and learning, and engagement for our middle schools. A worthy cause, indeed! The deadline for submission is Apr 10.

Greylock's Josh Elman (who's worked at both Facebook and Twitter) is putting together a conference on How To Build Great Products next month (Apr 12) in San Francisco. Its by invitation only for the top product managers. Fit the bill? Apply here!

My buddy Jonathan Askin and a team of his students at the Brooklyn Law Incubator & Policy Clinic (Brooklyn Law School) are launching First-to-disclose. As you know, the US just moved from a “First-to-invent” to a “First-to-file” regarding patents and that'll make it much more difficult for small inventors to fend off larger enterprises in the rush to the patent office. The goal of First-to-Disclose is to help counterbalance the new rules. Go check it out.

The 2013 UX Awards (celebrating great digital ux created by outstanding professionals) is now accepting submissions. Deadline is Apr 15.

Featured Job Listing: Car Guy Nation, a fast-paced, funded startup, is looking for an Ecommerce Magento Developer, someone experienced in PHP, AJAX, JQuery, etc., to tackle a few small tasks and custom programming. Positions are on a contract/project basis but f/t possible. They're also looking for a WordPress Guru. If interested, contact Mary Hofmann.

A ton of awesome jobs recently posted, including Senior Systems Administrator at Hailo, PHP/Java Services Engineer at Hailo, Mobile QA Testing Specialist at Hailo, ROR Software Engineer at CharityBuzz, Director of Engineering at Magnify.net, Developer Community Builder at Temboo, and many, many more.

As always, a bunch of interesting classes coming up, including Big Data Analytics with Pentaho @ Verizon, Become A Guerilla Marketing Bulldozer! @ Sunshine Noho, 4th Floor, [WSTA] Cybersecurity: Mitigate Issues with Trust & Pervasive Information Access @ The Yale Club NYC, IncubateNYC MVP Fair @ Google, Client Acquisition Strategies for Startups @ Lee Hecht Harrison , Geolocation & Google Maps @ AOL, General Assembly Presents: A Product Management Series @ General Assembly West, Introduction to Twitter Bootstrap Prototyping @ General Assembly West, and many, many more.

SXSW was amazing! A ton of new connections & friendships made, old ones re-kindled and of course many wonderful, random conversations in hotel lobbies and waiting in line for late night tacos. Blog post of my highlights coming out later today. I must say though that when my flight started its descent into LaGuardia and I saw familiar NYC landmarks show up on the horizon, it felt really good to be back home. I was in a NY State of Mind :)

Until next week :)
