REMINDER - The Beekeeping Course Is At The Central Park Arsenal

From: Jim and J.
Sent on: Friday, January 2, 2009 10:54 AM
Just a reminder that the beekeeping course has MOVED.

Don't go to Heifer International's offices, as no one will be there.

The first session is Sunday, and will continue each Sunday
in Jan and Feb, with hands-on beekeeping to start as soon
as the weather breaks.

What Happened?

Due to the overwhelming response to the beekeeping novice
course, we had to find a larger room with enough space
for everyone.

We found one, and it is nearly free:

The Arsenal
In Central Park
(Just North of Central Park Zoo Entrance)
830 5th Ave, New York, NY
3rd Floor Gallery

We can have the room from 11am to 1pm every Sunday,
and the price they are asking will be CHEAPER than
the rental of the chairs we would have needed to
rent to hold classes at Heifer International.

How To Get There

The entrance is on the West side of the intersection
of 64th St and 5th Ave. Go down the steps into
Central Park.

Nearby Subway Stops:

F Train - to 57th St Station (6th Ave & 57th St)

F Train - to Lexington Ave - 63rd St Station (Lex Ave & 63rd St)

6 Train to 68th St - Hunter College Station (Lex Ave & 68th St)

NRW Trains - to 5th Ave Station (5th Ave & 60th)

When To Get There

11am Sundays, starting this Sunday, Jan 4th

What To Bring

a) Notebook and pen/pencil.

b) Maybe a clipboard, as there will be
chairs, but no tables or desks.

c) Coffee, water, whatever. We have
no budget for refreshments.

What Is The Reading Assignment?

Read some of each of the two textbooks,
maybe the first chapter or two.
