Let's go see Selma, the film about Martin Luther King, Jr.’s campaign to secure equal voting rights via an epic march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama, in 1965.
The evening begins with a DJ set by Miss Hap and a short film curated by BAMcinématek. Music starts at 6:00 PM, movie begins at sundown.
Burgers, frites, dumplings, pizza, Venezuelan street food, ice cream, beer, and wine from Smorgasburg will be available all night long on the promenade!
We'll meet in Grand Army Plaza in Prospect Park at 6:30pm (wheels down 6:40pm) and get to Brooklyn Bridge Park around 7pm.
Bring a lock, a blanket/sheet to sit on, and money for food!
