Spring is finally here and so is our April NYC Apps event! This month's theme is Video. Our friends at Animoto were generous enough to provide their beautiful space in the East Village.

- 7:45 pm – Featured Presentations: Get a behind-the-scenes look at the process of building, designing, and executing an app from NY's best.

Our first featured presenters this month are:
Dom Hofmann, GM and co-founder, Vine
As GM of Vine, Dom is responsible for a variety of areas including product strategy. Vine, a mobile service that lets you capture and share short looping videos, was acquired by Twitter and launched as a standalone service in January, 2013. Prior to joining Twitter and starting Vine, Dom was a Product Manager at Jetsetter and an engineer at Razorfish, where he helped develop projects for web, mobile and touchscreen devices.

Colin Kroll, CTO and co-founder, Vine
As CTO of Vine, Colin oversees product development and technical operations. Vine, a mobile service that lets you capture and share short looping videos, was acquired by Twitter and launched as a standalone service in January, 2013. Prior to joining Twitter and starting Vine, Colin was CTO at Jetsetter and an engineering manager at Yahoo!.

Our second featured presenter is Chris Barnes, Mobile Product Manager, Animoto
Chris Barnes is currently Animoto's Mobile Product Manager, directing the development of their iOS and Android clients. He's also managed development of desktop companions for Windows Phone at Microsoft, and web-based applications at Apple.
Our third featured presenter is Cesar Kuriyama, Founder, 1 Second Everyday
Cesar is the Founder of 1SecondEveryday, an iPhone app that allows you to create a video montage of your life. Featured on: Fast Company, MASHABLE, CNN, TED & BBC, 1 Second Everyday's journey began with a TED talk and was then featured by Apple (Android version coming soon.)
He has also taught courses in computer animation at NYU, Harvard University, and Pratt Institute. His clients include: Hersheys, BMW, Verizon, Gillette, and the NFL.
