I'm a computer programmer for Wall Street. For the last few years, I've been reading everything I can get my hands on about climate change.

How do you like your pizza? (We're not promising anything, but it would be good to know what people want).

Pepperoni, Bell Pepper, and Onions.

Where did you hear about us? (Facebook ad, Event on another Meetup group, Meetup email advertising this group).

I'm the founder of the group.

Anything else you'd like to say?

My technical degree has enabled me to research a lot of the technical claims being made by both sides of the debate on their merits, and conclude that we'd better do something about this problem. The effort will need to be sustained for decades, which means it has to be bipartisan, and while the left is signed up to act, the conservatives are neither convinced nor cooperating, and most of the environmental movement is doing a terrible job of reaching out to them. I feel that as a deplorable Republican and the organizer of the "Fans of Capitalism" meetup, I am well-situated to make that effort.
