What kind of environment group activities would you like to do?

Promoting peaceful countermeasures to the contemporary American ideals of waste and avarice. Examples? You know: barter economy, localcentrism, idleness, thrift. And of course, rooting in the dumpsters behind Dean & Deluca.

What environmental issues are you most concerned with?

The predatory accumulation of capital. And, as GOP pollster Frank Luntz would have it, 'energy resource exploration' in the remaining wild lands of the Western Hemisphere.

What triggered your interest/passion in the environment?

I was a grade-schooler in rural VT when I heard James Watt had been confirmed Reagan's Sec. of the Interior. Been working to usefully channel that indignation ever since.

Now that I now longer work in non-profit conservation, I'm keen on finding an outlet for, umm, certain eco-protective impulses.
