Announcing a new event for The Metro NYC Environmental Meetup!

What: Current Environmental Events Coffee Klatsch-Third Thursdays

When: Thursday, August 16, 7:00 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Event Description: Announcing a new monthly event:
Current Environmental Events Coffee Klatsch

A coffee klatsch is a casual social gathering for coffee and conversation

The third thursday of every month we will gather at a coffeehouse for discussions of current environmental events and issues within our community, locally, state level, national, and globally. Bring that interesting newspaper clipping (or your laptop with the article downloaded :)), bring your sign up sheet for that issue or event you need volunteers for, most importantly bring yourself and good humor.

This month we will meet at : Le Pain Quotidien (specific store TBA). The NYC locations are certified Green Restaurants by the Green Restaurant Association, Additionally they have a commitment to organic sourcing organic products when available.

*Each month one of the organizers: Cathy, Robyn, Margo, Andreas, Glenn, or Anna will moderate to ensure that everyone has the ability to fully participate.
*Please be respectful of others, voice your opinion but allow others to do so too.
*Please enjoy yourself, but not at the expense of the group.

Thanks to Robyn for the idea to make this a regular event!
