NYC Gamers Night - Get some classic gaming on with Nintendo 64!

We're a great, casual group of people who love to play games and meet new folks. Be ready to meet some great people over videogames on a giant projector screen!

Come join us for some social gaming and conversation with your fellow gamers! We'll play wii or sometimes ps3, depending on requests and interest before the meetup. If you're interested in playing a particular game once we post the system, bring it along or ask if anyone can bring it when you RSVP!

Set up is around 7pm or so, so that's a great time to get a drink, grab some food, and mingle with your fellow gamers!

If you're into DS play, bring along your DS and any mutiplayer games you have, and see who'll join in! It's a great addition, especially for the extra-busy nights.

Feel free to bring your own games to share with the group as well as your own controller if you have a preference (always popular with the gamecube fans!).

In order to cover meetup fees and the cost of batteries and other materials, we're now asking for a donation each meetup. As little as $1 is greatly appreciated towards helping run this group!

As always, The Creek is giving us some monday night specials, free refills on soda & there's free comedy upstairs if you feel the need to stretch your legs. They also have a tasty menu with burgers and tex mex (with veggie options!), so if you're hungry they'll take care of you! As the Creek is both a bar and restaurant you do NOT need to be 21+ to attend this event.

FYI, we're located in the basement lounge of the Creek and Cave bar & restaurant, so come on in through the restaurant and head down the stairs. We'll be to the left!

To remind everyone, the main N64 games we have so far are: Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Super Smash Bros, Star Fox, and some South Park games that Jeremy has. If anyone else has any other N64 games, feel free to bring 'em! For Wii, between all of us regulars we have pretty much all the good multiplayer Wii games.

Yeah I'm bringing my N64, so if you could bring some cartridges that would be great. I just have Perfect Dark and Goldeneye. As usual, I'm coming from class, so I'll try to get there ASAP but I might not be there till around 7:20, 7:30 at the very latest.

I'll bring some stuff! If you're likely to be late I could probably bring my N64 (only issue being I only have 3 controllers and one of them is a shitty third party one, but at least we'd have something while we wait).

Just a reminder, in case people don't see Adam's post below (since it's a few comments in) it's likely we may start closer to 7:30 tonight. If you're here earlier, take advantage to get some food and drink and unwind from monday!

Can't make it to this one but where and when is the next event?

    Hey Jamie,
Sorry I couldn't make it last time. I can bring either my Wii or N64 next time (not really possible to bring both.) Should we vote on which one? The last N64 night seemed pretty successful, although that was a smaller group than normal. With a bigger group, the Wii would probably be better. I'm good with either one.
