October Hacker Hour++

Let's get together to hack on stuff while socializing and hobnobbing.

For these hacker hours, we are encouraging people who have skills in certain areas to volunteer their assistance to others in the group. Last week we had a number of diverse technologies covered, such as Backbone, Ember, FirefoxOS and Browserify. If you have a technology or skill you could offer help with, please let us know!

This event will be hosted by Mobile Brain Bank at Nest New York.

There will be pizza and drinks provided by Novus Partners.

    Sepi, this should be handled via server side transparently to the client. I will talk to you about it tonight.

    Despite saying I could offer assistance with RequireJS, I am, myself, in need of RequireJS assistance. I am trying to do something simple at first glance, but complex in implementation.

    Here's the gist:
    I have a www-root and under there are applications (SPAs). Also under there is a shared directory that will have shared assets like JS libs, css and images

    www-root:
    -- shared
    -- admin-app
    -- ordering-app
    -- content-app
    (whatevs)

    I want to build my shared directory's JS libs and I want the apps to be able to use them and do their own builds without including all of the common stuff.

    Each is using Backbone, but I only want BB, Lo-dash and jQ to be in the shared dir.

    You dig? Help me tonight at HackHour+?
