NYC is one of the world's main financial centers, so unsurprisingly many of our members are involved in the exciting world of low-latency trading applications. This month's presentation is going to be on patterns and best practices for building low-latency trading applications and will be of interest to every Java developer who needs to obtain optimal performance from their application, regardless of the business domain.

Our presenter this month is Buko Obele. Buko is a software architect at Neeve Research who specializes in building trading systems.

Refreshments will be provided, thanks to our host for the evening, Barclays Capital.
