Windows Azure Mobile Services ( is a new backend platform to help you create scalable backends for your mobile or HTML5 application in minutes, not days. This talk will go over how Mobile Services can easily be used to add OAuth authentication, push notification support, and cloud data storage to any new or existing mobile application. I will also discuss how easy it is to add custom server side scripts in Mobile Services that can be used to perform data validation and even connect to external services like Twitter, Twilio, and Facebook. Even better, using Xamarin, you can write your models once and easily share the code across iOS, Android, Windows Phone, and Windows 8 applications without ever leaving C#! With Xamarin and Mobile Services, it's a breeze to write mobile apps!
