Xamarin was a shining star in this November’s Microsoft Connect() conference, demoing a slew of new tools and improvements. In this session, we will put Xamarin’s newest features to work for us, including but not limited to: workbooks 1.0, profiler 1.0, connected services, and more. We’ll go into a deep dive on each feature to cover details we didn’t have time for in the Connect keynote, focusing on both the “how” of using the tool and the “why” it’s valuable, with the inside knowledge of each tool helping you become a more proficient and effective Xamarin developer. The session will also feature a chance to give feedback on your experience with Xamarin, and talk about what you’d like to see us focus on in the new year. Basic familiarity with the Xamarin toolchain and architecture is encouraged, but everyone is welcome.
Audience requests and votes are welcome - let me know ahead of time what you’re interested in and we’ll cover it.
