New Farmer Development Informational Day at Queens County Farm!

Do you have agricultural experience? Are you interested in starting your own sustainable farm? FARMroots wants to work with you! This Monday, join FARMroots staff and other aspiring farmers as we visit to the oldest continuously farmed plot of land in New York at the Queens County Farm Museum! We’ll tour the farm with a recent graduate of our Farm Beginnings training course, learn more about how the New Farmer Development can help YOU start a farm business, and get our hands dirty with some on-farm activities. Free transportation and free lunch! Just bring a good pair of shoes/boots and sun protection!

RSVP to Maria Rojas at [masked] or at[masked]-3814. For more information on our project please visit www.grownyc.org/farmroots/nfd
