How did you become interested in permaculture?

through an amazing friend & radiant cosmic being, Francesca, who had created an Edible Food Forest in her backyard in Metuchen, NJ and who kindly invited me to learn from her!!!

If you have taken a Permaculture Design Course, who was your was your teacher and what year did you receive your certification?

I took my PDC with super inspiring, amazingly experienced, evolved, unstoppable and energetic teacher Andrew Faust in 2009

How are you currently applying the permaculture principles in your life? (Care of people and the earth, fair distribution of surplus, promotion of diversity, cooperation, integration, zero waste, etc.: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Permaculture)

I'm living at the Sivananda Yoga Ranch where I get to apply many permaculture principles every day; in our food forest and new terraces. We just got a huge badge of fresh black gold (delicious aromatic fresh soil) from our 6 compost bins. Growing different plants from direct seeds in a small greenhouse that was put up since November 2013 and survived throughout this past winter and much much moooore

What are some of your favorite permaculture resources? (Books, videos, websites, etc.)
