compost repository. Heck if I knew of a place I'd be there with my friends grabbing it and trucking it to my lot.

I really don't know of free compost. But hey call up Lower East Side Ecology or Western Queens Compost Initiative. They do donate to community gardens and such. Also you must know some community gardeners with a compost site. Can't they give you some?

Its very permaculture to build community. Here is a chance to reach out. See what happens. I'm sure if its for a demonstration of permaculture they'd be happy to donate.
