This weekend! Events on climate justice, food movements: Left Forum conference with Noam Chomsky, Jesse Jackson, The Yes Men, plus hundreds more

Hi all,

Check out the Left Forum conference happening this weekend, Friday through Sunday, at Pace University across from New York City Hall next to the Brooklyn Bridge--near the 4, 5, and 6 trains to Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall.? There are over 250 panels and events, including many on environmental and food justice (just a few of which are listed below).? Plus activists and intellectuals from around the world.?

The opening night will feature Jesse Jackson, with Noam Chomsky delivering a closing speech along with a special tribute to Howard Zinn.? Additionally, on Saturday there will be a comedy show featuring The Yes Men--the pranksters famous for their impersonations of Dow Chemical and Halliburton.? (Read more about the comedy show here: )

Admission is sliding scale with low-income rates, and you can volunteer for free admission!? Register at the door or sign-up to volunteer on the website:?
