Thanks to Meghan and the other organizers for doing the work to put this together. Always good to meet and speak with other Pythonistas to see what tools they use and what projects they are working on.

It seems like the github to Quipy is down. Are you greeting a restful API for people for access your data or access an API from another service? For example the rotten images API.

Cool. As per my conversation with -- I forgot who sorry :P -- from the beginner / intermediate room at the last Project night, I'll try to bring a small project I have that's both an actual useful thing to work on and a good introduction to a few well known libraries that are useful to know how to use. If anyone feels interested in it (it's the foundation for a console RSS aggregator) I'll be around with it discussing with anyone how to use the relevant libs (which include Twisted, urwid, sqlite and feedparser at the moment, along with other nice tools like tox).

We're considering writing an Open Source Booking/Reservation system which speaks ReSTful protocols (JSON/XML/Atom/etc). It will be able to be used by any other framework or language in the world, and will run as a standalone gevent server using Mongo as a data store and queuing mechanism for notifications, etc. I am envisioning the types of reservation systems to be modular: a different plug-in module for theatre tickets vs. hotel reservations, for example, all with the same object attributes.

Last project night I introduced Quipy, my movie quote project. I haven't done much with it since the last project night, but I wanted to know if anyone would be interested in working with me on it.
