NYC Python Weekly Update: `await snow()`

From: Eric F.

Hi everyone,

NYC Python's back at you this week with some Lightning Talks!

Don't know what lightning talks are? A lightning talk is a short (5 minutes max) talk about a technical subject. That's it. This is not restricted to Python! Technically, the only preparation you need is to be there! A laptop with slides or example code is appreciated, though!

Sign ups are open now, but you can sign up at any point up until about 8:30 on Thursday! RSVP here! You can find the sign-up sheet to give a talk on the Meetup page.

We're also having our weekly general hack night on Wednesday! Come meet your fellow Pythonistas in an open environment! RSVP here:

For the link of the week, here's a paper about gradient descent that's been sitting in my to-read queue for a while now!

See you soon,
