Any interest in a little discussion/demo on these cool patches for MRI 1.9.3 to support debuggers and run-time introspection?

A little while ago, while waiting at the airport I finished these patches I had for MRI 1.9.2 to support cool stuff at the low level to support debuggers and run-time call frame introspection and introspection of MRI instruction sequences. See for an announcement. See[masked]

If there's interest I could give a demo of some of the stuff that I think is cool and am not aware exists in other Ruby debugger implementations. (JRuby seems like it could do some of this too, see but I'm not aware anyone has been on this.)

It's possible if I don't still feel too sick that I'll be around at the Dec 5th meeting if folks want to discuss.
