Come learn about training with Team in Training for our Fall endurance events. We are offering training for five different marathons, two triathlons and one century ride with training beginning in June. Learn more about how you can complete one of these events while also helping to raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Nike Women's Marathon, A Race to Benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
When: October 17, 2010
How: Run or Walk this fantastic event. Full (26.2 miles) and half (13.1 miles) marathon options.
Why: An Official Finisher's Necklace designed by Tiffany & Co for every finisher; a Chocolate Mile courtesy of Ghiradelli; DJs, dance crews, and bands at nearly every mile; and an unparalleled Expotique and Finish Line Village. The question isn't "why should you do this race," it's "why wouldn't you do this race!"

ING New York City Marathon
When: November 7, 2010
How: Run or Walk this full marathon (26.2 miles)
Why: A race in your backyard that lets you see NYC like you've never seen it before. Touch down in all five boroughs, run across five bridges, up a traffic-free 1st Ave, down a traffic-free 5th Ave, and into Central Park for a uniquely New York finish line experience. Added bonus: friends and family don't have to travel far to cheer you on!
What Else: New York City Marathon entries are distributed to lottery winners and qualifiers only.... unless you're a TNT participant! We've got a limited number of Guaranteed Entry spots, so be sure to sign up for this one fast!

adidas Dublin Marathon
When: October 25. 2010
How: Run or Walk this full marathon (26.2 miles)
Why: Start and finish in the city center near the famous Trinity College and the place where both Oscar Wilde and W.B. Yeats have lived. This race has become known as the "Friendly Marathon" due to the number of enthusiastic spectators lining the course. Celebrate a race well-run with a well-earned pint at any of the city's famous pubs!

Bank of America Chicago Marathon
When: October 10, 2010
How: Run this full marathon (26.2 miles)
Why: Known for being fast and flat, this course winds through the city and its lively neighborhoods, with a start and finish in the famous and beautiful Grant Park.

Hamptons Marathon & Half-Marathon
When: October 2, 2010
How: Run or Walk this fantastic event. Full (26.2 miles) and half (13.1 miles) marathon options.
Why: Head out east for a run through Amagansett, Springs and East Hampton with views of the Atlantic Ocean and Napeague Bay out to the Long Island Sound.
What Else: RUNNER'S WORLD named The Hamptons Marathon in Top 10 Races to Run in 2008. It earned praise for the small-town vibe, beach views and star treatment.

The Nation's Triathlon to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
When: September 12, 2010
How: This is an olympic distance triathlon: 1500m swim, 40K bike, 10K run.
Why: World Class City. World Class Triathlon. World Class Cause. Compete in the shadow of landmarks like the Washington Monument, enjoy a course perfect for beginner athletes and seasoned veterans alike, and feel proud that proceeds from the entire event come right back to LLS.
What Else: The Nation's Triathlon was named by Triathlete Magazine as one of the Ten Best Urban Races!

The Westchester Triathlon
When: September 26, 2010
How: This is an olympic distance triathlon: 1500m swim, 40K bike, 10K run.
Why: Stay close to home and friends and family can come cheer you on! Swim in the calm Long Island Sound with gorgeous views of Long Island and Connecticut; cycle the gentle rolling hills of Rye, Port Chester, Harrison, and Greenwich, CT; run through the shady and picturesque town of Rye!

Sea Gull Century (100 miles)
When: October 9, 2010
Where: Salisbury, Maryland
Why: Beautiful scenery and flat terrain make this an exceptional ride. The course takes cyclists out to the Atlantic Ocean and back in a scenic loop of farmlands, woods, and more. Along the way you'll keep an eye out for wild ponies, herons, and stunning architecture. Four rest stops along the way (including one that serves pie and ice cream!) divide the ride into five 20-mile segments.
