Transformative Travel: Empowering a Lifetime of Wandering

Event Description

Kick off International Education Week with The Wandering Scholar at HI NY’s Ballroom! Join us for an afternoon of conversation and networking for people who love to travel and care about empowering others to do the same. 

A panel of travel leaders, writers and planners will explore the ways in which travel can be a transformative - and accessible - lifetime pursuit. 

We will also introduce our Fellow Wanderers - a group that aims to connect young professionals with a series of regular opportunities to share their passion for transformative travel and empowering a lifetime of wandering.

The Wandering Scholar is a non-profit organization that makes international travel and learning opportunities accessible to high school students from low income backgrounds through full financial support and educational support to help the students share their stories with others. All proceeds will benefit The Wandering Scholar summer global skills fellowship program.
