Oakland Writers Write-In - All ages welcome

This meeting was formerly the Troy Adult Writers Group and Brainstorming Session. That group had been meeting at the Troy Public Library for five years, and it was a good group.

But it needs to be something different. Now, we've come out of a pandemic and we're trying to redefine normal. Now, we need the community of other writers to help us find our words.

This bi-monthly meeting is now for coming together to support each other and make time for writing. We'll do a quick introduction and greetings, and then we'll get writing. Because we use Google Meetup, we get 1 hour together, so we'll make good use of that time.

15 minute sprints. 10 minute sprints. Maybe you're writing a poem. Maybe you're working out a scene that's stuck.

Whatever you're writing, let's make the words happen.
