Open Gaming Every Friday Night!

We play and teach games all night long until midnight.  Drop in any time from 7:00 to 11:00 or so and you're sure to find something to play!  Bring your games from home or use any of the games from our extensive used game library.  We often have many tables going on at once for lots of variety.  The earlier part of the evening is ideal for families with kids.

We play all sorts of board games and card games on Friday nights, but also:

Got a favorite game you'd like to find others to play? Bring it along!  Let us know in advance if possible so we can help with recruiting players.

Our chess and Go guru Steve Bloom is often on hand to teach and play both, and will always confirm here if he's coming.  (Plus we have a separate Meetup for each every Sunday; for details see chess here and Go here.)

Very recently we've added Magic the Gathering every Friday (reserved table in the back) and on Thursdays too, hosted by Jimmy Freeman and both starting at 7:00 PM.  See our separate MTG Meetup page for details on these plus special MTG events.

(We have had to drop our 2nd/4th Friday Pathfinder Beginner's Box offering for the time being due to the rapidly advancing pregnancy of the GM's wife -- congrats to both!  For now, check out our separate Pathfinder Society Meetup, held every Wednesday, here.)

In addition to these Friday Meetups and the ones linked above, there are yet more game-specific events for adults and youth over the course of each week, including Scrabble, youth Pathfinder, youth chess and youth Go classes/play, so check out our full schedule here. There's more to come, so be sure to stay in touch!

We request a donation of $3 to help offset the cost of keeping the store open so late every Friday.

Hope to see you soon!

I'm thinking of bringing the Game of Thrones board game or Chaos in the Old World tonight. If anyone is particularly interested in one or the other I'd be glad to hear it!

I would like to play either of these but would have to learn. I should get there earlier in future weeks if you still want to try it!

This week I'm showing up early (just before 7) as I told Chris I'd run the Magic draft. I dunno if I'd be able to properly do both, but I'll bring Chaos (it's moderately less demanding of me) and we'll see if we can swing it.
