Hello Laughter Lovers--
It's almost Valentine's Day. A great time to strengthen our hearts--emotionally AND physically! Here's a quote from the American Heart Association website:
"Research suggests laughter can decrease stress hormones, reduce artery inflammation and increase HDL, the “good” cholesterol", said Suzanne Steinbaum, D.O., an attending cardiologist and director of women and heart disease at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.
"Perhaps laughter should be prescribed as a part of the way to prevent heart disease", Dr. Steinbaum said."
Laughter Yoga is a fun and easy way to access laughter, even when you don't feel like it! So check us out--your first time is free. And bring a friend!
Fun warm ups, laughter exercises, a rollicking laughter flow, and a relaxation will leave you blissed out!
No Yoga mats needed. Adults and older teens of all levels of physically fitness are welcome. Wear comfortable clothing for easier laughing.
