Smokin' good jam! Numerous great sets. The quality of music from this group continues to improve, but we're still a friendly group to newbies, that is a rarity. And we continue to see new players coming out and joining us, this group hasn't stopped growing yet! I'd like to take a moment to say thanks to a couple of players by name. I realize that is risky, because as soon as you mention somebody by name, others that don't get mentioned may feel left out. But I'm willing to take that risk, because of how much I appreciate these guys. I'm talking about 3 guitar players, Randy Hano, Mike Dotson and Lyle Sanders. All 3 of these guys are solid, top notch guitar players; but that isn't the most of it. As a jam host, I can always count of these 3 guys to put the quality of the set and the enjoyment of the other players ahead of themselves. They are unselfish players, and they make my job as host so much easier, and they make the quality of our jams so much better.

Thanks for the kind words Richard - it's a great time at these jams and a pleasure to help in any way I can.

You are too kind Richard. The jams are for everyone to enjoy and we experienced players want and need to help others have an enjoyable experience. Music is for all to enjoy!

    Richard,
I want to thank you and everyone at the meet up for allowing a rusty harp player to start getting back into it after many years. I had a bit of jitters on stage but Mike was very gracious, as well as playing a great guitar. I will be at the next meet up at Bosco's and look forward to seeing more good blues and giving it another shot. You have a great thing going.

Good jam! Thanks again for all your hard work coordinating this, Richard. Mike, I'm glad we've gotten to play together a few times now, you are a really good guitarist and help make my time on stage fun. I've been lucky at the jams to play with good drummers, harp players, bass players, guitarists.... one of these days I'll remember everyone's name! Til then, thank you, thank you to all!

Once again an overflowing plate hinders my attendance. I am there in spirit however. Miss all my old buds. Have a bluesy day !

I had a good time on stage, thanks to Lyle leading the set and generously giving me room to solo a little bit. Another few jams and I might even start to relax!

Some new faces, some old faces I hadn't seen in awhile, met some people - lots of great sets, Though loud on stage, I think the sound guy did a great job and balancing. The players all had good dynamics. Thanks to Kingtime for the backline.

Not sure yet, might have a practice that day with our cover band. But that would also be in HB, so perhaps worst case I stop by, say my hellos, and then continually beg and pester people to buy me a drink! LOL!!
