Who is your favorite blues artist?

I've been listening to Joe Bonamassa, Albert King, Freddie King, Nasty Habits (my old band) and T-Bone Walker, lately. I'm into old roadhouse type music the most. If you can tap yer foot and drink a beer while it's goin on, you've got it goin on!

Can you sing the blues?

I do the best I can, some people like it, some are irritated. As long as I don't have to put up the chicken wire, I think I'm doin fine

Do you play an instrument and if so what is it?

I play Fender gear, a modified Strat, with GFS pickups, it's my main axe for the time. It replaced my good ole Tele that I've played for over 10 years, 50 gigs a year and countless jam sessions. A Squier '51, a '67 Harmony Rocket, and a late 40's lap steel, fender amps of course, Stage lead 112se, a Kustom Hustler(my good friend Bob Nosler gave me) and a Harvard reverb (my all time fav of course, reverb for days, and creamy overdrive) And a Peavey PA system that just won't quit.

Introduction

I joined this group to share my love of music, listening to, and playing, blues, rock'n roll, and boogie type. This is a great place to learn from others and steal all the licks you can remember.

What BJ C is saying about this Meetup Group

This is getting to be a great place for aspiring players, old and new, to learn and how to play along with others. It can take years to get the vibe of playing in a group and I feel this is a great stepping stone for all.
