Rivendell Sanctuary Grazing Table - Brunch for Expansion
Details
Join us for a home-made plant-based brunch, while supporting our exciting new Grazing Zone for sheep and goat rescues
For the very first time, we’re breaking ground and opening the back pasture to create a peaceful new grazing zone for our rescued sheep and goats. The new space will also allow us to rescue more hooved animals in need.
To help bring this vision to life, we’re gathering for a beautiful plant-based brunch surrounded by nature, community, and compassion.
Fresh food. Open skies. Animals. A morning with purpose.
Seating Limit: 40
Recommended Donation: $30 per person. Donations accepted via Paypal, Venmo, Zelle, Cash or Check. For anyone experiencing financial hardship, we have 4 spaces for volunteers available. Contribute two hours of volunteer time in lieu of a donation. Conversely, if you are doing well, a larger donation helps greatly to bring the grazing zone to fruition.
Menu:
- Paul's Praiseworthy Passionfruit Pancakes
- Homemade veg sausage and smoky Fakon
- Tofu scramble
- Hash Browns
- Homemade muffins
- Mimosas
- Juice
- Coffee
A note about the event:
In addition to the delicious food, we will also be featuring bags of our chewy passionfruit caramels, our Passion & Pain passionfruit hot sauce, Kelly's gorgeous re-purposed jewelry, stickers, shirts and more. All proceeds go directly to the Grazing Zone.
Come Early! Guests are welcome to arrive an hour early. Spend some time with our rescued animals in the common area. Check out a book from the library to read to them. Or take a stroll on the sanctuary trails and soak in some of the natural tranquility.
P.S. about RSVPs
Please register at the Rivendell Event page here.
Friends, for previous events we’ve occasionally had challenges with last-minute cancellations. We completely understand—life happens, illness strikes, plans shift. However, because our resources are limited, we typically purchase ingredients, prepare space, and invest time and funds several days before each event. When guests cancel at the last minute, the event can shift from supporting our mission to placing added strain on it.
If at all possible, we kindly ask guests to avoid last-minute cancellations. Thank you sincerely for helping us make these evenings sustainable for the sanctuary and for our rescued residents.
