NO MEETING THIS MONTH - FEBRUARY

NEXT MEETING - MARCH 13, 2019
TIME-SAVING TECHNIQUES FOR EDITING MULTICAM
The After Effects Abuser Group will be having our first meeting of the year on March 13th, the second Wednesday. Our regularly scheduled February meeting postponed due to a tenant/friend's passing. We are refurbishing the room, which is turning out to be a big job, and so are moving the date to March.
Terry Syndergaard's presentation will focus on recent Premiere Pro editing tips and multicam time-saving techniques discovered while creating Music Videos for So Cal Blues bands. While many of these tips wil be old hat to old pros, it took Terry a while to figure them out. Your mileage may vary.
Free Tip: Simplified sync of multiple cameras - start from the end. Many times all cameras do not start at the same time, or one will miss the opening entirely - but unless a battery failed, they almost always include the ending, that final drum bashing that is quite easy to sync up. And don’t worry – Premiere Pro does a great job of auto-sync.
We will update details in a future announcement for our March 13th meeting.
Terry & Bonnie,
Adobe After Effects Abuser Group Managers

Pros who want to expand and exchange ideas and newbies who want to add production value to their videos will find a gathering of people who love visual effects - pushing pixels to go beyond - a club for adventurous explorers — kinda like a treehouse, but with computers.

The Digital Video / After Effects Abuser Group has presentations on video editing and special effects software, including, but not limited to, Adobe After Effects, Premiere, & Final Cut Pro. Terry Syndergaard is the Manager, Bonnie Erdrich, co-manager.

Meeting on the 2nd Wednesday of most months. The fee for non-OCMMA members is $10, or $5 for students.
