"Off with its head!"
There are times working with video when all you want is to chop off its head — or tail, or both, right? And still be able to say, "No dear little frames were harmed in the making of this video."
Wouldn’t it be great to do it really fast and not lose quality? Well, you can with the apps Terry will be showcasing. Having spent years hunting and testing (and fighting the occasional virus,) he’s found some gems that will save you that trouble.
Trim one second from the end of your video and most video editors will have to re-encode your entire video — actually making it a larger file than before you trimmed it — and make you wait for the pleasure.

Lossless Cut is a free app to trim even 4K videos without re-encoding, i.e., a 2-minute Save As vs a 40-minute Render.
SolveigMM Video Splitter not only trims, it also has the ability to cut commercials or other unwanted mid-sections before joining and saving as a new, smaller file without the wait and quality loss of a recode.

Now this does require re-encoding.
Terry will show how the little, free HandBrake app is useful for re-encoding your variable frame rate cell phone video to 30fps or 24fps constant so a mix of cell phone and video camera camcorder or DSLR footage for a music video is in perfect sync. BTW, HandBrake works on 4K, too.

Terry will show the best presets to save you time and how to modify and save your own.
He’ll save you hours of frustration by revealing a couple of “Gotchas” he discovered so you won’t have to waste your time. Come to this meeting to know the easy way and spare yourself the headaches.

Have a favorite application to share? Audio or video? Some tiny little thing that you love for what? Bring your Virus-Free flashdrives to collect and trade member-tested goodies. (Please confirm apps are virus-free at
Bonnie Erdrich will show you where to find the Adobe MAX Conference overview of the newest Creative Cloud Apps, updates, and tutorials.

Remember to RSVP so we know how many pizzas to order!
