New Meetup: Millcreek Ravine Park (Lower)

From: Jean C.

Announcing a new Meetup for The Edmonton Off Leash Dog Recreation Meetup Group!

What: Millcreek Ravine Park (Lower)

When: Sunday, November 28,[masked]:30 PM

Where: (A location has not been chosen yet.)

Our next off leash walk will be on Sunday, November 28th, 2010 @ 1:30 p.m. at Millcreek Ravine Park. Millcreek Ravine Park is one of the nicest Off Leash parks I've been to. It's not close to traffic and it has beautiful creeks, trees, bridges and hills. My dogs just love it !

The walk will be automatically canceled if it is -15 degrees below (or colder). Check the website the day before the walk to see if it has been canceled.

Jane and her dog Lucy have kindly offered to host this walk as I will be in Florida at that time. I'll be sorry to miss the walk, but when l pick a grapefruit off the tree, as I'm eating it, I'll think of you guys.

For those who haven't been to the lower Millcreek Ravine, you get on to 99th Street (south side of the river); go East on 69th Avenue; turn right (South) on 93rd Street and take the first left into the U parking lot. There is also street parking if the U is filled. You'll see Jane and Lucy at the Off Leash sign. The Google map is not correct, so just go by my directions.

If you come, you definitely won?t be disappointed. This is a multi use trail which means there are bicycles and joggers and it's a good path for strollers.

Jane will be looking forward to seeing you to walk the walk; talk the talk and bark the bark on Sunday, November 28th @ 1:30 p.m. I'll be thinking of you.
