Deer Ridge Trail, Sequim
Details
weather permitting
This is a steep trail that begins at the Deer Ridge/Slab Camp trailheads.
We will be hiking the first 3 miles of the Deer Ridge Trail to a bench, sometimes two benches, that will give us a great view of the mountains and Grey Wolf valley to our south. It starts off easy and quickly ascends approximately 2,000 feet to the benches. We will turn around here for a total of 6 miles round-trip.
No parking pass needed and no restrooms available. Leashed dogs are allowed.
We can meet at the Sinclair gas station at Taylor Cutoff Rd for carpooling at 930am. The last few miles to the trailhead are on a dirt road that is easily driven in any type of car. The potholes have been smoothed out recently.
