Please join Open Boise (Boise's Code for America Brigade) and Coding Dojo to celebrate Open Data Day (OpenDataDay.org)!
Open Data Day is an annual celebration of open data all over the world. It is an opportunity to show the benefits of open data and encourage the adoption of open data policies in government, business and civil society.
If you have an idea for using open data, want to find an interesting project to contribute towards, learn about how to visualize or analyze data or simply want to see what's happening, then definitely come participate!
Help us become a more collaborative city through access. Work on different projects related to Idaho governance and legislation, criminal justice, healthcare and provider networks, mapping and visualizing our Idaho, or contribute to our Data Census research - tracking the degree of openness of certain key datasets for the greater Boise area.
Developers, researchers, designers, product people... EVERYONE is welcome and we can certainly find a project for you to help with!
