Please sign up on eventbrite (http://build4stl.eventbrite.com) for the volunteer fair, the hackathon, or both. (We suggest you go ahead and choose both!) http://build4stl.eventbrite.com

Volunteer Fair is 4pm - 6pm on Friday (stop by any time within that window)

Hackathon is 6pm Friday - 2:30pm Sunday

Build For STL (http://buildforstl.org/), the St. Louis National Day of Civic Hacking event organized by OpenDataSTL (http://opendatastl.github.io/), includes an entire month of civic hacking activities culminating in the Make St. Louis Better Hackathon and volunteer fair May 29th - 31st.

The Hackathon is a creation sprint taking place 6pm May 29th - 2:30 pm May 31st, in which teams will spend 48 hours building something that will make St. Louis a better place. The result can be software, applications, devices, art - anything that benefits the community. Datasets and APIs will be available, and mentors will be on hand to help teams tackle their projects. Food and drink will be provided for participants.

A tech volunteer fair will take place immediately before the Hackathon, from 4pm - 6pm May 29th, matching local nonprofits with coders and designers interested in donating their time to community projects.

The volunteer fair and Hackathon are two separate events - but we encourage you to RSVP for both! (Especially since the volunteer fair may help spark ideas for Hackathon projects.)

Many thanks to our sponsors Clearent Intelligent Processing (http://developer.clearent.com/), Unisys Application Modernization Center of Excellence (http://www.unisys.com/), and Greater Missouri Builders (http://gmb-inc.com/).
