Python coaches, please fill out the following Doodle so we can agree on a date:
The workshop is going to be 4 hours on a Saturday, noon-ish, with an optional install party on the preceding Friday night. This just follows our model from Berlin and we'll see how well it maps to Zurich with this initial workshop. Feel free to discuss scheduling details with me privately or on the list.
Colab offers about 30 workspaces, so we'll need 10+ coaches to hit our feel-good ratio; the more the better. No need to be an expert, no matter how much you know about Python programming your knowledge and experience will be useful to a beginner! The material is more or less an introduction to basic programming concepts.
For those I haven't introduced to the format yet: Our workshops are hands-on and at your own pace. We provide material with a lot of exercises which has gone through numerous iterations of feedback. Coaches stand by the sidelines to help with any problems learners might encounter. All coaches are volunteers, participation is free of charge.
(Even if none of the dates suit you, please fill out the Doodle or otherwise signal to me you're interested in coaching Python. I'm compiling a Meetup subgroup with Python coaches-only so that we can communicate without bothering potential learners with coaching details in the future.)
