Animal Place's Music in the Meadow is our annual fundraising event.
This year, we celebrate 25 years of putting compassion into action! The Music in the Meadow benefit is a family friendly event with live music, open animal barns and pastures, vegan vendors, silent auction, cooking demonstrations, and more! This is a great opportunity to enjoy the sanctuary while raising much-needed funds to help the rescued animals.
Please Purchase Your Tickets Early!!!Price: $35/adult, $15/children (under 12), $75 VIP
Buy your tickets! Pre-registration required.
What to Bring
Blanket/Lawn Chair: Bring your own lawn chair(s), blanket(s), and sun umbrella(s) to set down in the meadow for live music.
Clothing: Due to animal safety and snake season, long pants and closed toed shoes are mandatory. You cannot enter any animal barn or pasture without closed toed shoes.
Sun Protection: We strongly encourage using a hat and sunblock. Camera: Take pictures! Make sure to check-in on Facebook too!
Water Bottle: If you are not taking advantage of our VIP ticket deal, make sure to either purchase a water bottle or bring your own. Water stations will be available.
Money: There will be exhibitors, food vendors, and a silent auction. Some vendors only accept cash, so please bring both cash and credit card.
Who/What Not to Bring
Companion Animals: Please leave companion animals at home. It is too warm in June to leave an animal in a vehicle. The rescued farmed animals do not always like dogs and not all dogs react well to cows, pigs, or chickens. Out of respect and safety for the animals, please make sure to leave your companion animals at home. Food: There will be several food vendors available to fulfill your food needs. Food is prohibited inside any barn.
Wheelchair Accessibility: The education pavilion and offices are wheelchair accessible. The road leading to the meadow and animal barns is graveled but mostly wheelchair friendly. Please understand that the meadow is a literal pasture used for the rescued animals (who will be hanging out elsewhere during the event) and, as such, is not flat terrain. A second entrance to the meadow is available but is best suited for electric wheelchairs. Limited Mobility: If you are unable to walk long distances, please make note of that in your registration. The road to the animal area is a 1/4 mile long and while it is flat, there is no shade. Directions
