HOW TO START A COMMUNITY GARDEN Provided by Thursday, June 17, 2010 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm (free) (Note: Even if you're an experienced community gardener, you might want to go to network.) Demand is high and most gardens have waiting lists before the snow has even melted! Community gardens not only help people put wholesome nutritious food on their plates, but build relationships among gardeners. - Learn the necessary steps to starting a garden - Get helpful worksheets and factsheets - Learn about resources to help with setting up a new garden Please
RSVP to kelsey.gardeningmatters[at] (mention the date and location of the workshop you plan to attend, as there are others elsewhere) so that she can have enough materials for everyone. (NOTE: Workshop attendees should park on the street, NOT in the co-op's parking lot--thanks)
