community garden information

From: Kathy A

Several people have written to ask whether I knew about a community garden in this or that location. I would like to refer you to the website for Gardening Matters, a local nonprofit organization.

Gardening Matters has both an online directory of community gardens, and they also offer membership in gardening "hubs" that provide seed, starter plants, etc. at low cost and help network people in a given area. If there's not a garden in your area already, perhaps you could organize one.

Please contact Gardening Matters directly if you cannot find what you need on their site.
