I have been learning to grow my own food in my backyard and as an active member of my CSA. This has really helped my family to eat more healthy and to save money. (My water bill has dropped considerably since I started harvesting rain water and my grocery budget has been cut by the bountiful harvests I've been blessed with!) I recently started an online shop to sell items that I make using recycled items. I turn my friends' old tshirts into dog toys, stained ties into fashionable wristlets, and holey sweaters into reusable coffee cup cozies. I still have so much to learn about green living and would love to be part of a community where we share knowledge and grow together.
I'm an IT consultant by day and sustainable craftista by night. I love to recycle old objects by giving them a new purpose in life! I'm also an organic gardener, experimental cook/baker, and avid garage sale shopper. Look forward to meeting everyone!
