We are organic human beings. We have not been genetically modified. We are connected to one another face to face. Though we also use technology, technology should not be our life either. Cell phones and social media do not replace face to face interactions. We live in a world with a wide variety of cultures and ideas and we should respect all of them even if we do not quite agree with them. As such, we are built on three principles: low tech, open minded, and social.

We at Organic People are connected to people, not technology. Though many of us have cell phones and social media, they are not our lives either. We are not on our cell phones "all the time" and can refrain from going on them every minute when we are in the physical company of others. We are also aware of the potential dangers of exposure to the electromagnetic radiation from cell phones and other wireless devices. In addition, we are also aware of the risks posed by other emerging technologies such as GMOs and AI.

Some of us are very fond of dogs, others are not. Some of us are vegans, others are not. Some of us are Christians, some of us are Jewish, some of us are Muslim, and some of us are nonreligious. Some of us are gay. Some of us have brains that think differently because of a condition we might have. None of these things make us better or worse than others or less worthy of respect. We do not ask people to conform to one lifestyle or one way of thinking, as that goes against who the individual is or wants to be. Only when one practices something that is harmful to others do we get in the way.

We are also social. Though some of us may want to keep to ourselves at times, we also enjoy interacting with others and making new friends. We are kind to others and do not ostracize anyone, nor are we quick to judge anyone. We do not stand people up, nor do we flake out on them after making plans just because we found something better to do. If you live by the above stated principles, join our group!
