The club is renting Pavilion #1 at Kelly Park, 400 E. Kelly Park Rd, Apopka, FL 32712. Please sign up here on Meetup and include any family members with the “plus” feature.

There’s a springhead which you can float downstream on. You may bring your own pool noodle, tube, or float as long as it does not exceed 5 feet in length or width. Tubes may be rented at Rock Springs Bar and Grill at the corner of Kelly Park Rd and Rock Springs Rd. The ride downstream takes about 25 min and the walk back is about 10 min and is paved.
There are no kayak/canoe rentals but there is a primitive launch at Camp Joy next door for a small fee.

The pavilion has plenty of picnic tables. No additional canopies are allowed but you can bring a chair if you’d like.

This is a sausage themed potlock so bring something to share. We will provide the water, plates, utensils, cups, etc.

No alcohol is permitted. No pets are allowed.

There is an admission fee of $3 per vehicle for 1-2 people, $5 per vehicle for 3-8, and $1 for additional person/walk-ins/motorcycles/bikes.

Come early because if the park reaches capacity they will not let you in. We have 15 parking permits which can be used for admittance anytime before 1. You have to have the physical piece of paper, so let Genna know at practice if you want one. You need to be signed up first and it’s first come first served. No copies or electronic versions are allowed. They only work once, you can’t leave and re-enter. It might be good to carpool. This park is apparently super popular. The line to enter starts early.

We are limited to 50 people so I will be creating a waitlist in order to make sure paid members get priority.
