DESCRIPTION:Orlando 20-40ish board games\nHello! Live at the Pointe has of
 fered to host us at their Sports and Social bar/restaurant.\n\nConsider th
 is a ‘save the date’ and reminder for yourself rather than a tradition
 al RSVP. Like the other events\, I won't be checking a list.\n\nThey're lo
 cated right on I-Drive\, in the same plaza as YardHouse\, Wonder Works\, M
 aggiano's\, The Capital Grille\, a movie theater\, and entertainment optio
 ns... there's a VR gaming place (Sandbox VR) in the same plaza.\n\n\\*\\* 
 Parking is $10\, which can be validated with purchase \\*\\*\n\nWe’ll ha
 ve the upper mezzanine. It'll be set up for 25 people. If more come\, they
  said we can add more tables and there's also a floor directly below with 
 tables. These are easy games to transport.\n\nBeyond the event\, there is 
 plenty to do at The Pointe's 6 bars & restaurants\, at other places in the
  plaza\, and on I-drive.\n\nThe Pointe consists of:\n\n* Sports & Social (
 has a dart room)\n* PBR Cowboy Bar (has a mechanical bull)\n* Shark Bar\n*
  Sal's Pizza\n* Still Lounge by Snoop and Dre\n* The Palm Tree Club\n\nI p
 refer that you don't bring your own games to this one unless they’re sma
 ll ones you can carry around with you. I’ll post what I’m bringing soo

 heir promotions manager got in touch and offered. They’re hoping to make
  $ from food and drinks. If you attend\, please buy something either at th

DESCRIPTION:Orlando 20-40ish board games\nHello! Join us for good coffee\,
  snacks\, and board games. We start at 9:30am and go until 1pm. Some come 
 a little later\, others leave a little earlier.\n\nLate joiners and walk-i
 ns are welcome.\n\nFor refreshments\, Stardust offers coffee\, tea\, and a
  menu (cafe food).\n\nGames I'll have (and 1 longer play game\, like Plund
 er\, Quacks\, or Santorini):\n\\* Alpha\n\\* Azul\n\\* Beat the Heat (a 6n
 immbit knock off)\n\\* Deep Sea Adventure\n\\* Flip7\n\\* Mantis\n\\* Proj
 ect L\n\\* Risk Strike\n\\* River Valley Glassworks\n\\* Traitor Tots\n\\*
  Twisted Cryptids\n\\* Uno Flip\n\\* Zombie Dice (with expansions)\n\nIn a
 ddition\, usually people bring games\, too. Different types.\n\n\\*Parking
  spots: in the parking lot\, on a side street\, or across the street (liqu
 or store parking lot - at your own risk\, but no one's been towed or ticke
 ted).\\*\n\nIf RSVPs are full\, come by anyway. Usually\, 40-50% of RSVPs 
 attend in person and not at the same time. It's a neat area to hang out fo
 r a bit.\n\n*Note*: Please RSVP if you're interested & update your respons
 e if plans change. This will help others get a sense of the event's availa
 ble space before they make the trip over. Thank you.\n\n\\- Emily\n\n.\n*W
 hat to expect:*\nUsually\, a few people show up right at the start. We pic
 k a game and start playing something that others can join easily and quick
 ly as it goes along.\n\nAs more people arrive\, that group breaks into 2 g
 ames\, etc. Some people stick with the same group. When a game finishes\, 
 it's common to change games or tables. Walk around and see what's there.\n
 \nIf I look up and see someone standing with a confused look on their face
 \, I ask if they're looking for the board game group and give a little wel
 come. This head check is about as much hosting as I do.\n\nPlease make you
 rself comfortable. Everyone's there to unwind and meet new people. If you 
 have a question and want to figure out where the organizer is\, ask someon
 e nearby and we'll find our way to each other.\n\nThat's about it. We're t
 he only group there. Space hasn't been a problem.\n\nI have my set of game
 s on a table by the front. Others are usually also there or with the peopl
 e who brought them\, who might be seated somewhere else. If you see a game
 \, the people by it are probably with this group
