Improv Workshop, Level 101 and 201

Hi everyone. Val and I had a great time playing with y'all on Monday. We're still looking for a larger venue. In the meantime the meetups will continue to be limited to 20 attendees. Anyone who was on the wait list last session, and didn't get to go, is guaranteed a spot this week if they want it.

Val and I have plans to add more events to this group. We'll post more info on that soon.

Val is writing a blog about improv in Orlando, and her personal improv experiences. She's also writing introductions for our guest improvisors. You can check it out here:

The format will be as follows.

Level 101 will be the first hour. This portion is specifically geared towards people with little to no improv experience. It will be run by Val. Everyone is welcome, and it is absolutely free. It will also be a good way for people to warm up for the second portion of the workshop, level 201.

After Level 101 and a short break, we will have Level 201. This portion will be focusing on scene work, and more advanced improv concepts. This will be run  by our Guest Improvisor: Chelsea Hilend. Stay tuned for a news letter with an introduction about Chelsea. In order to participate in this portion you should already have some experience with improv. Level 201 will have a $5 dollar charge. Half of this money will go to The Space that is letting us use their building, and the other half will go to Chelsea.

(For new people who will just be doing 101, I would encourage you to stay and watch level 201, it is a great way to speed up the learning process.)

If you have any questions, feel free to send me an email, or ask it in the Message Boards. Hope to see you there.
