Hobby projects, mostly although I write utility scripts in my day job all the time. I have meant to get into Python web development for some time, but making webpages was never interesting enough to me - I like backend work much more. I used Python for my thesis and even wrote some C code that plugs into the CPython interpreter. I want to sit down and learn to contribute to a Python open source project.
I honestly don't know. I believe I am an easy-going person who is fun to talk and work with and I have a lot of energy for doing cody-stuff, but I mostly waste it on perfecting code and never releasing anything. I would really like to find a better way to channel that energy.
Introduced to programming via Python, works mostly with a mix of Java/Ruby/Scala/Shell from day to day but I keep coming back. I like coding, testing, discussing code, beer, music and pretty pictures
