RE: [FidoFrolicTrain] Expanding Our Meetup

Hi Amy,

It is so much fun and so useful to come to your events!  I have the Cocker Spaniel that seems to not be socialized almost at all.   Especially on a leash.   On a leash, he is distracted by almost every dog and barks and tries to pick fights with them.   Off leash, such as at a dog park, he keeps to himself for the most part, realizing that he is "the small fish in a sea of mostly bigger fish".  He sometimes makes sure he is close to me, I've noticed.   I'm so happy that you will be having events in Seattle - I live in NE Seattle.   Any day or time is good for me.

Hello everyone!
Firstly I'd like to thank you for being such a great devoted bunch of dog lovers.  You have really reminded me of how much I love the people part of dog training.  Thanks everyone!
Secondly, I am expanding our meetup to include Seattle as well.  We will have more meetups in more locations in Seattle and the Eastside to accommodate those committed members not on the Eastside that have been making the commute.  We will also have more meetups that focus on socializing, not just training.
Thirdly, for the time being, we will no longer be able to host meetups at The Pet Stops Here.  I no longer work with them and have had trouble coordinating meetups with the new staff.  I am looking for another nice indoor space on the Eastside as it seems summer will never arrive.  In the meantime, I will have to postpone our evening Eastside meetups.
Lastly, I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!  When would you like to see meetups occurring?  What is your availability?  Also, what training and socializing themes would you like to see covered?  I have some small dog and shy dog socials planned but what else would you like to see?
Thank you so much for your patience and I look forward to wowing you with a great bunch of upcoming meetups!
