9 AM START ---Walk around Shark River Bay. + Silver Lake-----10 Miles

If you are new to my hikes you have to message or email me before you can register. Priority on my hikes will be given to those who attend the hikes or who cancel their reservation at least 24 hours ahead of time.
The walk starts at the Marina Grill parking lot. From Route 35, turn into the lot at 10th Ave. Then make a left turn at the water to the parking lot. There are restrooms located behind Marina Grill on the north side of building.
We will walk along Route 35 over the bridge and turn into the neighborhood right after Seaview Island entrance. We will walk along the North Channel of the Shark River then along the bay, through Neptune City and then crossing the bridge over to Shark River Hills. We will walk along the bay and through some of Shark River Hills, then into Wall. Walking along Marconi Road, we will pass the Info Age Museum then back along the bay on Belmar Blvd to Route 35 and return to Marina Grill. We continue over to Silver Lake. .After we go around 2/3 of the lake we take lunch break at the Gazebo. After lunch we will head over to the Shark River Inlet and walk along Inlet to return to Marina Grill. The hike is approximately 10 miles and we will try to maintain a 3mph pace. You can bail out the last few miles.

Before leaving the house check the comments section for cancellations. If hike is cancelled it will be posted by 6AM on day of event.

Arrive at Least 15 minutes early to sign up, safety talk, adjust boots, restrooms ,etc. I leave on time.
