.... to get the day started out right.
I haven't been to Elmo since Spring, time for a return before the snow flies. I know it's not as exciting as the Skyline... but it is in the morning for us early birds who also don't do crowds. ;)
Lake Elmo Park Reserve - First parking lot to the left after you enter through the gate.
Goal: Make a figure-8 - Walk both the little lake (pond?) and the ski trail.
Miles: Roughly 5.5 Miles
Terrain: Grassy, hilly, muddy if wet
Pace: Steady, but not rocket-speed
For those interested in the Ely trip but haven't signed up yet, this would be a great chance to learn more about it while we are walkin'! I would like to recruit five more for the trip in January! http://www.meetup.com/outdoor-snowlovers/events/81454092/
$5.00 at the gate if you don't have a season sticker.
